Melissa Thompson provides arbitration, mediation, and related dispute resolution services, with particular depth in complex commercial disputes, including manufacturing, product development and licensing, life science, pharmaceutical and medical device, healthcare, payor-provider, and technology-related matters.
She serves on the Commercial, Life Sciences and Healthcare arbitration and mediation panels of the American Arbitration Association and the arbitration and mediation panels of the American Health Law Association, and brings decades of experience with contractual, regulatory, business, and industry-specific disputes. She is a Fellow with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Before forming MThompsonADR, Melissa served as an arbitrator and mediator and advised companies, executives, and boards as both in-house and outside legal counsel, including manufacturers, distributors, technology companies, pharmaceutical and medical device corporations, academic medical centers, research institutions, hospital systems, PBMs, physician practices, national pharmacy chains, and other organizations operating in highly regulated environments.
Her work has focused on dispute resolution, commercial contracting, business conflicts, compliance, complex litigation, and administrative proceedings.
